BIOGRAPHY

Emma is a London based singer songwriter. She first learned the art of songwriting when working in Portugal in 2008, and has since been awarded Finalist position in the prestigious UK Songwriting Contest.  

Emma writes predominantly on guitar and she also has performed at the Birmingham Symphony Hall as a soprano.

 

Her vocal is  distinctly mellow and folky, and is often accompanied by rhythmical acoustic guitar. With influences as diverse as indie pop artists like The Cranberries and Ellie Goulding, folk pop singer songwriters like Joni Mitchell and Jason Mraz, and other catchy genres such as Musical Theatre, she likes to write meaningful, uplifting songs that brighten your day.

Emma has worked with a number of world-famous musicians such as Chris Difford and Beth Neilsen Chapman, and has shared a stage with Dr Voice (Sam Smith's vocal trainer) as well as the original Miss Saigon and Hollywood star, Renee Montemayor. 

 

Emma is a regular performer, and has played festivals such as O'Neils Carnaby Street Festival and Croydon Food and Music Festival. as well as being a regular Busk in London street musician. 

 

She has also had her music appreciated by international judges in the Masters of Songwriting competition. Emma was delighted to be awarded a Finalist trophy.​

Emma has just released her debut single "Blessed" and her debut EP "Reach Out," independently at her launch gig in the beautiful music venue, Tolouse Lautrec, London.

She is now putting together her debut album (expected 2020)  and looking forward to a summer of performing gigs with Busk In London and Undiscovered Talent UK.
